Aloha
My name is Mariah Kalipi. My partner, Xrystina Bicoy, and I both attend Molokai High School and
together, we are working on a project that will improve our library. For this project, we decided to re-
do the student lounge area. Our funds are low however so we have been asking local businesses for
various donations that would help us in our endeavor. We would like to inquire if your company would
be willing to donate to our school’s library any unused furniture that would contribute to a student
lounge area. Our goal for this project is to create a better and more comfortable “home feeling” lounge
where students could relax, read, study or just ‘talk-story’. We believe that this would not only be a
pleasant change for the students who regularly come to the library, but also encourage other students
to come to the library as well.If you have any questions or if you are willing to donate please email
Diane Mokuau at [email protected].,Xrystina Bicoy at [email protected], or Mariah
[email protected]. You can also call the Molokai High School Library at 567-6950 ext. 273.
Mahalo for your time and consideration.

Dear Uncle Clinton and the FFA Club,
Thank you so much for helping us with our Library Improvement project! Your donations were very generous and extremely appreciated. The plants are beautiful and fit nicely in the library. I hope you have a chance to come up and see them for yourself. Thank you for your time and graciousness Uncle Clinton. We definitely couldn’t have done it without your help. We hope you are doing well and that your green house is prospering. Thank you again!
